In 2011, my friend and long-time collaborator, Steven Greenstreet, brought me on to shoot for a docu-series that he was co-producing with Lagan Sebert on Sebert’s sister, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life. On April 23rd, the series premiered on MTV and here’s a bonus clip that was released exclusively online. Steven Greenstreet and I shot the b-roll. Lagan Sebert and I shot the interview. Sound and editing by Ted Roach.
Recently worked with director Tim Martin as a camera operator on his epic short film about Flying Dog’s Snake Dog IPA in a can. I was one of three camera operators. I shot with a Canon C100 camera using multiple lenses. There was an additional C100 and a FS700 for the super slow-mo footage. Edited by Tim Martin.
This is a mini-doc I made as a special web feature for my documentary, Blood, Boobs & Beast. It features underground comix pioneer Jay Lynch and was filmed on a Canon 7D.
Here’s a video I shot and edited. Film in Denver, CO on the eve of the first 2012 presidential debates using a Canon 7D and Canon 60D. Edited in Final Cut Pro. Produced by 76 Words.
I shot and edited this ad, which is playing on TV nationally. I used a Canon 7D and a Canon 60D, shooting simultaneously. One camera had a 50mm 1.4 lens and the other was using a 28mm 1.8 lens. Edited in Final Cut Pro. Produced by 76 Words.
Here’s an excerpt of the feature documentary I edited about lawnmower racing. It’s an eye-popping, high-octane clip of a lawnmower race, featuring helmet cam footage from 5-time champion Jayson Mikula. The film is showing this weekend at the Naperville Independent Film Festival in Illinois. Directed by Mike Ratel.
