Stop the Gynoticians

Worked with the folks at 76 Words to do an illustration of a “gynotician” or a politician who thinks they know more than women and their doctors about women’s health. Drew with a sable brush, using india ink on bristol. Scanned and brought it into photoshop to color and alter using a Wacom tablet.

Every time I film for KIPP, I’m blown away by the students there. Here’s a recent video I shot and edited for KIPP DC.

Year of the Snake Dog IPA

Recently worked with director Tim Martin as a camera operator on his epic short film about Flying Dog’s Snake Dog IPA in a can. I was one of three camera operators. I shot with a Canon C100 camera using multiple lenses. There was an additional C100 and a FS700 for the super slow-mo footage. Edited by Tim Martin.

The Archive of Jay Lynch

This is a mini-doc I made as a special web feature for my documentary, Blood, Boobs & Beast. It features underground comix pioneer Jay Lynch and was filmed on a Canon 7D.

New clip released from On Your Mark, Get Set, MOW!

Here’s an excerpt of the feature documentary I edited about lawnmower racing. It’s an eye-popping, high-octane clip of a lawnmower race, featuring helmet cam footage from 5-time champion Jayson Mikula. The film is showing this weekend at the Naperville Independent Film Festival in Illinois. Directed by Mike Ratel.
